Mark Burris

Mark is the Director of Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR) at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where his primary responsibility is assisting faculty with instructional design and integrating technology into online and blended courses. He holds a “Teaching in the Virtual Classroom” post-graduate certificate from Fielding Graduate University along with two Master’s degrees.

Over the past twelve years, Mark has been involved in almost every aspect of online learning, including teaching, training, system administration, and technology collaboration. Current research and conference presentations have focused on usability, synchronous learning, alternative assessments, and immersive learning environments.
